Cutting Phone Bills

October 17th, 2005

Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis has published a guide to saving money on your phone bills. The trouble is, it all seems so complicated and is such a minefield that I can’t be bothered to read it all the way through. I personally think it’s sometimes better just to stick with your current provider than to go to all the hassle of changing (I know, that’s what the suppliers want!), but perhaps that means I’m not a proper money-saver (I tend to be more of a “hassle-saver”).

It’s all dependent on the type of user you are anyway - whether you make many calls during the day, to mobiles or internationally etc, so I’d recommend going over to Martin’s site and having a read for yourself, to determine whether you could save money.

If you find anything conclusive, please let me know! In the meantime, I’m going to try to get everyone I know to use Skype, as that’s effectively free!
