Choosing A Child Trust Fund

January 6th, 2006

I heard an advert on the radio the other day plugging a new government website which aims to give you help on choosing a Child Trust Fund (CTF). CTF Help has put together a toolkit and FAQs to help you make your decision.

Remember, if you’re one of the thousands that has yet to invest your child’s voucher, then if you don’t make the decision, the government will choose a provider for you. You’re also wasting valuable time whilst the voucher is lying around, as you’ll be missing out on growth. And one of the best rules for investing is “invest early”. That way, you can make full use of the wonder that is compounding interest.
