Scottish Widows “Worst Fund Manager”

January 26th, 2006 No Comments » | POSTED BY ROB

Poor old Scottish Widows was recently named as the “worst fund manager” according to investment broker BestInvest’s “Spot The Dog” list of worst actively managed funds.

In total, it has nearly £700 million of investors money in these poorly performing funds, and had been the worst performing manager for a couple of years, before escaping to second place last July, replaced by Henderson Global Investors.

As they say, you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
