Property Funds For ISAs

February 28th, 2006 No Comments » | POSTED BY ROB

There’s been a couple of announcements today about property funds which have become available within the ISA “wrapper”.

Norwich Union is making its Property Trust available as an ISA from 6th March, and the Legal & General UK Property Trust has been launched today, which is also available as an ISA.

Now, without wanting to sound cynical (cynical, me, never!), these announcements seem to have been timed to grab the attention of the thousands of people who will be deciding on where to invest their ISA allowance before the current tax year ends on 5th April.

Investing in property still seems to be the number one choice for easy money (that’s seems to be the perception, anyway), and I can see plenty of investors being interested in these funds for their ISAs, especially as they also come from two big names.
