Money Saving March: Don’t Go Shopping Hungry

March 13th, 2006 No Comments » | POSTED BY ROB

One of the worst things to do when looking to save money on your grocery bill is to go shopping on an empty stomach. The belly often manages to over-rule the head, and you may find that when confronted with shelves full of delicious food, the belly gets its own way.

It’s also a good idea to go to the supermarket armed with a shopping list, as you’re more likely to come back with only the items you need.

And when confronted with 3 for 2 offers and the like, ask yourself if you really need that amount of food, and make sure the items are not going to go off before you get to eat them, or get wasted if you find you don’t like them.
