Warning: Use This Tip For Saving Money On Batteries At Your Own Risk!

Lifehacker has recently posted a few tips on how to save on batteries by opening up bigger batteries.

A few weeks ago they showed how to get several watch batteries out of a single 12V battery, and today they have shown how you can get 32 AA batteries from a single 6 volt battery.

As they say, it generally goes against common knowledge to start poking around inside batteries, so do so at your own risk! But the tips might just come in handy when the kids are nagging you for a certain type of battery that you think you haven’t got, or, perhaps more importantly, to save a few quid.

I’d be interested to hear the results from anyone brave enough to try this out.
