Hidden Savings from Correct Tyre Pressure

This post could mark the start of a whole new category for Money Watch: Hidden Savings. I’ve been wondering whether this is the sort of tip that I want to post, the kind of advice that my dad would come out with – but at the end of the day, if it can save you money then why not.

Anyway, a new report suggests that by not having the correct pressure in our car tyres we are costing ourselves money, both in reduced fuel efficiency and replacement tyres, as well as increasing the chances of accidents. (By the way, the research was done by a company which sells tyres…)

Now, where’s that pressure guage?…
