Over-Spending Index Calculator

Your over-spending index (OSI) is a very simple way of determining whether you're earning more than you spend (and hence saving money).

Add your earnings and spend in the form below (this could either be monthly, annually etc.) - an OSI of more than 1 means that you're spending more than you earn, and therefore may be getting into debt.

Calculating your OSI on a regular basis will tell you whether you're managing to cut your spending (or increasing your earnings, of course!), or whether you're in danger of getting into debt.
