I’ve got to admit I’ve had very limited experience with personal finance software – it’s always seemed like a good idea, but I haven’t had the time nor inclination to sit down and find out what works best for me (I did use Microsoft Money for a few months a couple of years ago, but eventually lost interest in it). One of the problems that annoyed me the most was the lack of coverage of banks for getting up-to-date account information – this might have improved since I was using Money.
The Telegraph has reviewed 4 personal finance packages, Microsoft Money, Tesco’s own package, Personal Accountz and MoneyBox. To be honest, I’d only heard of MS Money – and based purely on the looks of the products, it’s probably the only one I’d try out.
So, from your experience, is it worth trying out any of these or maybe another software package?
