Petrol Prices Gradually Dropping

Lonely petrol pumps

Thanks to a global recession and the supply of oil, petrol prices are gradually starting to come down to more respectable rates. As one of my colleagues put it earlier, you now only feel slightly swindled when you go and pay for your fill-up, rather than completely ripped off.

I suppose that’s one upside of global financial meltdown and the forthcoming (or perhaps already here) recession.

I’ve personally seen petrol as low as £1.04 per litre, although I’m led to believe that you can get it for less than £1 per litre on some supermarket forecourts. Hopefully we won’t see prices as high as £1.20 per litre again for quite a while.

Remember, to find out the lowest prices for petrol in your local area, sign up to PetrolPrices.com. This will alert you to the cheapest petrol stations, but don’t go too far out of your way to get there else you’ll spend more getting there than you’ll save at the pump.
