Every year, the BBC creates a budget calculator so that we can work out whether or not we’ll be better off following the Chancellor’s most recent budget.
Just tell it a few basic details, like how much booze you drink and fags you smoke, together with your income etc, and it will let you know how much more or less money you’ll have in 2012/2013, based on this April’s budget changes. It will also give you a breakdown of how much income tax, national insurance and child benefit you’ll get.
