Barclays have emailed their clients to let them know that they’re going to change the way they login to both online and mobile banking.
The email suggests that feedback from customers have led them to improve the number of options for logging in, increasing the number of types of transaction that can be completed without the need to use their PINsentry login widget, and making it more flexible to users’ needs.
The new login screens are due to be introduced during April and May, but other than that there are no other details on how things are changing.
We’ll be interested to see if they’re going to add any other technology into the login process, such as mobile phones.
