Warning For Drivers Insured With CIS

The BBC reports that up to 2000 drivers insured with Co-operative Insurance (CIS) may be technically uninsured, due to a problem with some renewals.

CIS says it will pay any claims that are made, but confirmed that technically the drivers are breaking the law by driving without valid insurance.

If you’re insured to drive through CIS, it’s worth giving them a call on 08457 464646 to check that everything is alright with your policy. From the sounds of it, although technically uninsured, you will still be covered, and CIS will honour the premium outlined in your renewal documents.
