The Big List of Money Saving Ideas

The key to achieving a good financial situation is simple: spend less than you earn. If you’re not able to do this, and let’s face it, many of us aren’t, then there are obviously 2 ways in which you can try to reach this position: increase your earnings, and/or reducing your spending.
In this post, we’re going to explore many areas in which we can do the latter – save money. I’ve called this the Big List of Money Saving Ideas, and hope expand the information provided by the list, as well as keeping it as up-to-date and as useful as possible.
As yet, there is no particular order to the list, it’s purely based on the order in which they came to me. But I’m hoping that this list will grow and become more comprehensive given time, and hopefully with your help.

I like this list a lot. There are a lot of things on it that most people wouldn’t think of or don’t think of, like using free software. The links are helpful sources as well.
