Top Tips To Prevent Identity Fraud & Free Credit Rating Prize Draw!

We’re nearing the end of Identity Fraud Prevention week, and hopefully my earlier post gave you some ideas about how identity fraud can happen. Now it’s time to look at some tips for reducing the chances that you become a victim of identity theft, plus keep reading for a chance to win a free credit rating check:

Credit Reference Agency Equifax have kindly offered our readers a chance to win a free credit rating worth £13.95 - just leave a comment below, making sure you leave a valid email address (don’t worry, the email address will not be used anywhere, it will only be used to notify the winners and to give them details of how to receive their prize). As noted, shredders are a limited aid. Someone willing to invest time can piece shredded documents together again. A better way is burning or mashing. (Or mashing, drying and then burning).
