Money Saving March: Cancel Unused TV Channels

March 2nd, 2006

If you’ve got channels that rarely get viewed, then you probably don’t need them, and these days you can often negotiate with your satellite television provider to receive the package of channels that you really want.

For example, with Sky Television, you can mix the channels you want to a certain extent, and you only have to stick with your choice for a month. So you could try going 1 month without certain channels, and if you don’t like it, you can always go back to the channels you had before. Chances are though, you’ll forget you ever had half of them anyway.
