Motley Fool: Nature’s Disinfectant

Ever heard of Hypochlorous acid (HOCl)? I hadn’t until very recently, but it’s something we all have in our bodies. You could call it nature’s disinfectant as it helps the body to fight nasty bugs (pathogens) that can cause disease.

HOCl works well in the body, so it might be sensible to use it as a disinfectant in the home, hospital and elsewhere. The problem has always been working out how to produce HOCl easily, but a recently listed company called Puricore (LSE: PURI) has cracked it. It now sells or leases generators which can produce sizeable quantities of this disinfectant (branded Sterilox) at any location….
