The FT have developed an app for the iPad and in preparation for the launch of Apple’s latest device on 28th May, they have released a demo video to show how it works.
The look and feel is very much tied in with FT.com: but don’t take our word for it, take a look for yourself:
The app will be free to download, and for a limited time it will be free to access all of the FT’s content through it, although eventually it will be subject to the normal subscription model used by the FT online and on their iPhone app.
Whilst there’s nothing particularly new about what the iPad app will offer in terms of content compared with the FT website or the iPhone app (except perhaps the HD quality video), the demo does make it look like a very nice experience, but I guess that’s what the iPad is all about.

The iPad is one of the best inventions of modern technology. With hundreds of app already in use the new app for the iPad sounds equally interesting. And also, a six figure download is completely inspiring and impressive.
