Here’s a bit of a fun post to start the week (Ed: crikey, it’s almost Wednesday already, where does the time go to?!) – the ever-popular board game, Monopoly, has been updated to reflect current property prices. Properties are now going for millions of pounds instead of hundreds, and the pieces have been updated to include a hamburger, mobile phone and skateboard. The money is now in much larger denominations (no longer ‘Monopoly money’?), and you’re more likely to win a reality T.V. show than a beauty show when picking up a Chance card.
Traditionalists needn’t throw their boards over in disgust though, as this is only a limited edition (“Here and Now”) version of the game bought out for its 70th anniversary.
