The Scotsman is proudly reporting a YouGov study shows that Scots are the best at controlling their cash, and are the least likely to own a credit card.
Londoners were the biggest spenders, whilst the Welsh and Midlanders (woohoo!) were the most modest spenders.
Of course, a lot of this is likely to be due to wage and living cost differences between the regions.
