The Financial Services Authority has launched a new website that aims to show mortgages “laid bare”. The cheeky little site, Mortgages Laid Bare, uses quite a nice easy style of writing to explain the ins & outs of mortgages, which is refreshing, especially coming from the FSA.
It includes information for existing mortgage holders and first-time buyers, plus there is a budget calculator and links to the FSA mortgage tables, as well as other resources.
It has been launched as part of an advertising campaign which aims to get rid of the jargon surrounding mortgages.
