The slightly scarily named SnūzNLūz connects to the internet (via cable or wifi), and takes money from your bank account to donate to one of over 6,000 organisations or charities, with the minimum payment the not inconsiderable sum of $10.
OK, so this alarm clock doesn’t really exist, it’s an April fool joke from gadget website ThinkGeek (check the small print promising 50% commission on each snooze), but it’s a clever concept; what better motivation to get you out of bed in the morning than the threat of getting hit in the pocket!
