U.K. Interest Rates Cut

In a widely predicted move, the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee has cut the U.K. interest rate by 0.25% to 4.5%.

In the past few weeks there had been plenty of speculation that the rates would be cut, due to a lack of consumer spending and the manufacturing industry continuing to struggle, amongst other things.
