The Scotsman has an article giving a few ideas as to how to save for your child to go to university.
A few of the ideas (buy-to-let, re-mortgaging) seem pretty extreme, but given the amount of debt that graduates are leaving university with may be a necessity for some. These are appropriate for those with kids leaving for university in the near future – for those with young children and who have a few years to save there are some other ideas as to how to save a regular sum of several years to build up a university fund.
