  • Quick log–in option for Apple users with Touch ID
  • Manage your personal settings on the go – update your email address, your balance text alerts and paperless settings
  • Emergency help information now also available without logging in
  • Easier log–in for those using a passnumber
  • Get a visual snapshot of how your income compares to your spending
  • Search up to 15 months’ statement history on your current account and credit card

Here’s the app in action:

Barnaby Davis, Nationwide’s Divisional Director Group Retail Strategy, said:

“As a mutual, Nationwide is owned by and run for the benefit of its members. This is why when designing our new mobile banking app we listened to their views and have integrated many of the developments they said they wanted.”

The Nationwide mobile banking app is available to download, for free, from the App store for iOS devices, and from Google Play for Android phones and tablets.

Initial feedback appears to be good, at least going on Twitter reactions, but if you’ve used the app and have your own view on it, let us know what you think of it in the comments below.
