Whilst Metrobank is busy pushing its new style of bank branch in London, Citibank is testing out its own innovative bank branches on the Shanghai metro.
As this promotional video for Citibank shows, they’re eager to serve clients whilst they go about their normal daily business with their “smart banking branches”, complete with iPads and and self-service kiosks:
With 7 million people on the Shanghai metro each day, it makes sense for Citibank to be targeting commuters, but would it work on the London Underground?
