Santander are the latest big bank to release an iPhone/iPad app for their Apple-toting customers, together with improved mobile banking for those without Apple devices.
The Santander iPhone & iPad apps allow you to logon with your usual online banking login details, and you can view all of your account balances, including your Santander credit cards.
The app also allows you to view recent transactions, transfer funds between accounts and pay existing recipients. And that’s not all; it will also allow you to edit and cancel pending payments and transfers, setup and view account alerts and probably least usefully, find your nearest Santander branch.
All in all it sounds like a very impressive app, and the initial reviews seem very positive, gaining an average score of 4.5 stars on iTunes.

If you don’t have an iPhone or iPad, then Santander have also just improved their mobile banking for any phones with internet access. It’s a mobile-friendly version of Santander Online Banking and offers you “many of the most popular features of their desktop service”. To access Santander’s mobile online banking go to m.santander.co.uk via your mobile’s Internet browser.

The ipad app will not allow me to use the OFFERS part of this app it just shows ERROR when I try to use it
